Description

Samples have been meticulously produced with a range of high-end hardware processors and hardware synths to give you the true analogue low-end that soft-synths tend to miss. All tracks are kept through 24bit in all stages of production (except if you decide to pick 16bit format). All the kicks are overdriven and limited to get an extreme loudness to make them punch through your mix. Note that the low end has been left with no LF-cut so you can be in control of how much of the true analog warmness you want in your kicks. It is recommended to cut some LF as these frequencies can be quite extreme but I leave you to be the judge of how you prefer the sub frequencies in your mix. The combination of a Dave Smith Poly Evolver, Korg MS2000 and a Novation BassStation were used to produce these kicks in true raw form. Although they are not “drum” synths, real full-end synthesizers have much more flexibility in the sound you can get with careful tweaking and programming
These kicks are suitable for any electronic music where you want kicks to be a main part of the mix. Ranging from overdriven type 808s to distorted synth bass type stabs, they have been meticulously produced with the true rawness and warmth of hardware gear including real tubes for extra drive. This was aimed to be a “goto” sample pack for kicks. They are great for Breakbeats, DnB, Dub-Step and any other overdriven electronic music.

Samples will be extracted to custom location depending on your selection. There is also an installer for EqNx DM-Pads Kick directory which will install the samples so that they are ready to use with DM-Pads.
